* COME OUTSIDE AND PLAY AT GIPL’s 5th BIRTHDAY PARTY! - JULY 8! *

How time flies! We will be celebrating GIPL's fifth birthday on the evening of Tuesday, July 8 in grand fashion. There will be delicious locally grown food, homemade ice cream, live music, local wine tasting, silent auction (see list of items to the right), and all sorts of eco-tabulous indoor and outdoor fun at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church (4393 Garmon Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327)!

Submit a local, seasonal, homemade dish in GIPL’s food contest!

Entry Details:

  • Categories: Appetizers, Salads/Sides, Main Dishes, and Desserts
  • Time: Have your dish ready to serve at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church by 6:45 pm; taste-testing will begin at 7 pm
  • Recipe: Provide a written copy of your recipe, detailing where you obtained your local ingredient(s) (your entry must include at least one local, seasonal ingredient); if your recipe is taken or adapted from someone else’s recipe, please make reference to that source
  • Prize: If your dish is selected by the judges, you’ll win an environmentally-friendly prize!

Don't cook? Be a judge! Party guests will be able to buy a chance to act as judge for one of the categories. You'll be guaranteed a taste of every entry in your category and you'll get to pick which is the best!
