Across Georgia, faith communities are taking action on the climate crisis and advocating for environmental justice. Since 2003, more than 600 faith communities have partnered with Georgia Interfaith Power & Light ® (GIPL) to plant trees, get out the vote, go solar, and cultivate local resilience to extreme weather.
As new threats to our communities arise, we are reminded that people of faith have always known what it takes to tend to the sacred. More importantly, we know what is sacred.
Together, as a diverse interfaith community, we care for one another. We love our neighbors. We come together in fellowship to stand for what is just and protect what is sacred. With your support at the end of the year, we can continue the work of training volunteers, supporting congregations, and standing for what is just and protecting what is sacred.
