The Public Service Commission (PSC) is a five-member elected body created to regulate Georgia Power and ensure that consumers receive safe, reliable, and reasonably priced electric, telecommunications, and natural gas services.

Elected statewide for staggered six-year terms, two seats on the Commission (Districts 2 and 3) are on the ballot this year.

Grant Opportunity

Green Teams interested in organizing and supporting Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts in their congregation and community this fall may apply for a Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) grant of $500 or $1,000 to support their efforts. This micro-grant aims to bolster faith communities' ability to engage in GOTV efforts and provide funding to support congregations' general sustainability operations.
