Thank You for Registering Your Green Team!

Registered Green Teams have access to a variety of special resources and events. If you are unsure if your Green Team is registered with us, please reach out to Hannah Shultz, Program Coordinator, at hannah@gipl.org.

Below you’ll find information about Green Team Coaching, monthly Green Team Roundtables, and the newly-launched Eco-Challenge.

Green Team Coaching

GIPL’s Green Team Coaching Program is designed to provide additional structure and support for new Green Teams, or Green Teams that are re-launching. Through this program, eligible Green Teams will receive a GIPL Green Team Coach for 12 months that will provide hands on support, regular in-person and virtual consultations, and assistance in developing a Green Team specific strategic plan.

Green Team Roundtables

Green Team Roundtables provide an opportunity for Green Team leaders and members from across the state to meet each other, collaborate on eco-projects, and share ideas and resources. The roundtables are held virtually on the third Tuesday of each month and alternate between noon and evening meetings. Click here for the 2022 virtual roundtable schedule. Regional in-person roundtables are also offered quarterly for Atlanta-area Green Teams. Please see our events page for updated information about regional roundtables.

Green Team Roundtables are only available for registered Green Teams. Please register your Green Team or email Hannah Shultz at hannah@gipl.org or Joanna Kobylivker at joanna@gipl.org to learn more about starting a Green Team.

Eco-Challenge

GIPL’s Eco-Challenge provides an opportunity for communities of faith to learn more about the most pressing climate issues of our time and ways to take collective and individual action. Each month focuses on a different topic and is broken down into three different categories: learn, act, advocate. Prizes are distributed quarterly to the congregation who has had the most engagement and taken the greatest number of action steps over the previous three months.  The Eco-Challenge is only available to registered Green Teams and will be sent at the first of the month to the registered Green Team leader. Please contact Hannah Shultz or Joanna Kobylivker with any questions about the Eco-Challenge or how to register your Green Team.
