2024 GIPL Coastal Green Team Summit

Sponsorship Opportunities

Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires and equips communities of faith to organize, implement practical climate solutions, and advocate across Georgia on issues of climate change, environmental justice, and community resilience. An affiliate of the national Interfaith Power and Light movement, GIPL envisions a Georgia where all people can flourish in a healthy environment, a stable climate, and resilient communities.

This Coastal Green Team Summit is a regional opportunity for Green Teams, faith leaders, and environmental activists to gather for a time of fellowship and shared learning. The Summit will be held on Sept. 21, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Savannah. The summit will focus on ways faith communities can foster spiritual and ecological resilience in the face of the climate crisis. At the summit, participants will hear from a panel of local faith leaders, participate in roundtable discussions, and attend workshops on local climate issues, coastal resilience, Green Team organizing, and advocacy. We anticipate around 80 participants at the Summit. Your support will go directly toward making this event a success.
