Stand with communities of faith across Georgia as they advance climate action and environmental justice.
Across Georgia, faith communities are taking action in response to the climate crisis. More than 600 congregations are planting trees, reducing energy costs, getting out the vote, installing solar, and building local resilience to extreme weather events.
For over two decades, Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) has united people of faith and conscience to organize and advocate for both people and the planet, in pursuit of a more just and resilient future.
Together, we have trained local leaders, supported congregations in lowering energy burden, and mobilized communities to advocate for environmental justice and public health. This work is guided by a clear conviction that the communities most impacted by environmental injustice and climate change should have the tools, trust, and support to lead the response.
