Faith In Action Across Georgia
At Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL), we believe that protecting Sacred Earth is a moral calling. Clean water and sustainable energy are essential for the health of our communities, the vitality of Georgia’s ecosystems, and the well-being of future generations. As people of faith, we are called to be stewards of this shared home, advocating for policies that ensure safe, accessible water, renewable energy, and environmental justice for all.
Explore priority issues below and take action to make a difference today. Together, we can build a cleaner, healthier, and more just future for Georgia.
After years of praying and petitioning legislators to protect the Okefenokee Swamp, we’re thrilled that the portion of Trail Ridge once slated for mining is being sold to the Conservation Fund and will be protected.
Celebrating A Win!
