Eileen Fishman serves as Georgia Interfaith Power & Light’s Finance and Operations Director. With nearly four decades of experience leading finance, administration, and operations across mission-driven, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial ventures, she brings both strategic insight and a hands-on approach to her work. Over the years, Eileen has served as a CFO, COO, consultant, and small business owner, helping organizations and teams build strong fiscal systems, transparent processes, and resilient structures that align financial integrity with purpose.

At GIPL, she finds great fulfillment in mentoring emerging leaders and fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and care. Her role includes accounting/finance, operations, HR, and organizational development, all grounded in the belief that sound internal systems are the foundation for team strength and lasting community impact.

A CPA early in her career, Eileen earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Adelphi University and her master’s in Organizational Psychology and Leadership from Columbia University. The proud mother of two daughters, one a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket and the other a Mercer Bear. Eileen lives in the City of Decatur.
