In Conversation with Debra Rienstra

  • Unitarian Universalist Church of Savannah 311 East Harris Street Savannah, GA, 31401 United States (map)

Join us on Saturday, February 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Savannah for a meaningful conversation with Debra Rienstra, author of Refugia Faith: Seeking Hidden Shelters, Ordinary Wonders, and the Healing of the Earth.

In this virtual lecture, "Refugia Faith: Ecological Civilization and the Gifts of Faith Communities," Debra will share insights from her book and beyond, exploring how faith communities can foster resilience and contribute to ecological restoration. Following her 45-minute presentation, there will be time for a live Q&A session. We'll then convene a local, in-person panel to reflect on Debra's message—with Debra herself still present virtually.

You may remember Debra as the keynote speaker for last year’s Atlanta Green Team Summit —we’re thrilled to welcome her back for another inspiring conversation!

This event is co-hosted by UU Savannah and Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL). We hope you'll join us as we come together to reflect, learn, and grow in hope for a more sustainable future!
