Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA) are excited to co-host Flying Together: An Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at UUCA, 2650 N. Druid Hills Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.

Across metro Atlanta, people are doing incredible work for the earth, frequently without knowing who else is out there. Communities are alive with individuals and small groups often operating in isolation amid headwinds of discouraging news. This Earth Day, let’s flock together to celebrate our solidarity and care for our Common Home through conversation, singing, and sharing success stories and collective wisdom.

The morning will include live music, exhibitors, a large-group gathering in UUCA's sanctuary from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., and breakout sessions from 11 to 11:45 a.m. exploring the spirit, strategy, and resourcefulness needed for the road ahead. The event will close with networking and light refreshments.
