As we prepare for Ramadan, let us be mindful of our impact on Sacred Earth and how our actions affect our friends, family, and loved ones in our communities. 

Plan to join Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) at Masjid Jafar (11005 Jones Bridge Rd #112 Johns Creek, GA 30022) on March 1 at either 1:45 or 2:30 p.m. for a Jummah Khutbah given by Imam Arshad on Islam and the Environment. 

Then, on Saturday, March 2 at noon, GIPL's Program Coordinator, Ayesha Abid, will lead a workshop on Islamic Environmental Stewardship. Learn more about what you can do this Holy Month to practice sustainability and support your Masjid in its mission to become more eco-friendly. Lunch will follow.

Notes: Registration is not required for Jummah Khutbah. However, everyone will need to remove their shoes upon arrival at the Masjid.
