Rivers Alive Creek Cleanup at Mason Mill

Join GIPL (Georgia Interfaith Power & Light), Scout Troop 103, and Ranger Jonah in cleaning up the Burnt Fork Creek and South Fork Peachtree Creek watersheds! Wear water shoes or old sneakers as we’ll be wading in the creek to remove plastic, trash, and tires. Don't want to get your feet wet? There will likely be trash to be removed from the banks of the creek, too. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided. All ages are welcome, but since we’ll be walking in the creek, this program requires good balance and a sense of adventure.

Dress for the weather and bring a refillable water bottle and a snack. Bring work gloves and trash grabbers, if you have them. Meet at the South Peachtree Creek Trailhead near the Mason Mill Tennis Center (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd).
