This summer, we’re following the path of power across Georgia, tracing how it's made, how it's priced, and how it's felt in communities. From urban centers to rural towns, we'll be listening to the people living with and paying the true cost of fossil fuel decisions. Throughout this statewide journey, we will work to connect policy to place and people, revealing that energy isn't just infrastructure, it's lived experience!
Our next stop: The East Campus of Albany State University on Friday, June 19, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
We'll look more closely at biomass, the data center boom in Georgia, and the energy burden in Albany. We’ll discuss why faith leaders are raising concerns, how these issues connect to the broader fight for energy justice in the South, and what you can do about it.
While this program will be specifically geared toward Summer Success Academy students at ASU, all are welcome to attend.
No registration necessary.
