  • St. Mark's Episcopal Church 207 North Greenwood Street LaGrange, GA, 30240 United States (map)
Sign for a pollinator habitat surrounded by greenery. Text details a "ReWilding" workshop on sustainable land use in LaGrange, GA, on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Sustainable land use stands as a pivotal, and often overlooked, climate solution. Georgia Interfaith Power and Light’s ReWilding program focuses on the ecological regeneration of congregational lands, restoring natural processes, and fostering more resilient ecosystems and communities.

Join GIPL and other West Georgia faith communities on Oct. 19 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in LaGrange to learn more about how your congregation can "ReWild" sacred grounds through projects like tree plantings, native plants, and community gardens.

During this workshop, participants will tour a pollinator garden, hear from a plenary speaker, and brainstorm possible ReWilding solutions for their congregations. After the workshop, participants will be invited to apply for a $500 seed grant to help implement a solution on their congregational property. Register for free below!
