Jacquelyn Clark serves as a Fall 2026 Communications Fellow at Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL). She works alongside the communications team to help tell the stories of faith communities, advocates, and changemakers working toward environmental justice. Through writing, multimedia storytelling, and digital communications, she helps spread the word about GIPL’s mission and the transformative work happening in communities around the state, particularly those located on Georgia’s coast.

Jacquelyn discovered GIPL through her minor in Human Rights and Democracy at Georgia State University. After hearing GIPL’s executive director Codi Norred speak in her Religion and Health class, she was inspired by GIPL’s commitment to environmental justice and the powerful ways faith communities are creating change. Her passion for human rights and democracy led her to GIPL, where she is excited to be part of meaningful, community-centered work that turns value into action.

Jacquelyn is entering her final semester at Georgia State University, where she is completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Human Rights and Democracy. Jacquelyn also holds an Associate of Arts degree in Communication and looks forward to applying the skills she has developed in journalism, storytelling, and multimedia communications to help document and amplify GIPL’s impact.
