2026 COASTAL GREEN TEAM SUMMIT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Georgia Interfaith Power & Light® (GIPL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that inspires and equips communities of faith to organize, implement practical climate solutions, and advocate across Georgia on issues of climate change, environmental justice, and community resilience. Born out of the national Interfaith Power and Light movement, GIPL envisions a Georgia where all people can flourish in a healthy environment, a stable climate, and resilient communities.
Join GIPL on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at White Bluff Presbyterian Church in Savannah. This summit invites Green Teams, faith leaders, and environmental activists to come together and cultivate justice. We will explore how the wisdom of our faith traditions shapes our commitment to pursuing justice and how we can put this call into action through practical climate solutions and policy efforts that support thriving communities.
At the summit, participants will hear a keynote address by Janisse Ray, author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood, participate in roundtable discussions, and attend workshops focused on local climate issues, advocacy, and spirituality. Lunch, coffee, and light snacks will be provided. All are welcome.
