2025 GREEN TEAM SUMMIT CIRCLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that inspires and equips communities of faith to organize, implement practical climate solutions, and advocate across Georgia on issues of climate change, environmental justice, and community resilience. Born out of the national Interfaith Power and Light movement, GIPL envisions a Georgia where all people can flourish in a healthy environment, a stable climate, and resilient communities.

Join us for a regional Summit Circle on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, Georgia. Green Teams, faith leaders, and environmental activists are invited to gather for this half-day event for a time of fellowship and shared learning.

As part of GIPL’s annual Summer of Advocacy, participants will explore the impacts of a proposed methane gas pipeline and data center, its potential impacts on communities, and discuss ways to engage in clean energy advocacy in Columbus.

They will also hear from GIPL staff about how to effectively organize within their congregations and how planting and protecting trees — particularly in underserved neighborhoods — can promote justice and enhance climate resilience. A light breakfast and coffee will be available.
