2025 GREEN TEAM SUMMIT CIRCLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires and equips communities of faith to organize, implement practical climate solutions, and advocate across Georgia on issues of climate change, environmental justice, and community resilience. An affiliate of the national Interfaith Power and Light movement, GIPL envisions a Georgia where all people can flourish in a healthy environment, a stable climate, and resilient communities.

Our 2025 Green Team Summit Circles offer opportunities for Green Teams, faith leaders, and environmental activists outside metro Atlanta to gather for a half-day event, fostering fellowship and shared learning regionally. This year, our first Summit Circle will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, from 9-12:30 p.m. at Oconee Street United Methodist Church. Our second will be held on September 27, 2025, from 9-12:30 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.

At each, participants will learn about GIPL’s practical climate solution programs and policy initiatives that SEED LIFE in congregations and communities. Each summit circle will offer a plenary speaker, two rounds of workshops, and breakfast. Together, these sessions will equip participants with the knowledge, inspiration, and networks needed to return to their congregations ready to lead, plant, and advocate for a more just and sustainable Georgia.
