Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) is offering grants to partners hosting nonpartisan Get Out the Vote (GOTV) events. This grant is intended to defray the cost of security at those events. It provides up to $1,500 for security measures at participating 501(c)(3) congregations. Funds are self-directed by local site leadership and can cover up to 2 security officers (armed or unarmed), mobile vehicle patrols for neighborhood canvassing, secure document shredding, and digital threat mitigation.

‍ To be eligible, you must have a registered Green Team with GIPL (you can register your Green Team here), and your non-partisan GOTV event must reference the Public Service Commission race.
