Join the Archdiocese of Atlanta in partnership with Georgia Interfaith Power and Light and Candler School of Theology, in the Catholic Youth Climate Conversations.

In his encyclical, Laudato Si, Pope Francis affirmed the truth that “the climate is a common good belonging to and meant for all.” But young people have the greatest stake in our churches and schools addressing climate change. We are seeking young people to share their voices as the Archdiocese takes the next steps to care for our Common Home. Apply to participate in the Catholic Youth Climate Conversations and help to create the world you want to see!

Current 9th-11th-grade Catholic youth are invited to apply. The Catholic Youth Climate Conversations will take place over two sessions. Participation in both sessions is strongly encouraged but not required. The first session will be held on April 26, 2026, from 12-6 p.m., location to be confirmed (we’ll know soon!). Our first session will conclude with Mass at 5 p.m., to which parents are invited. The second session is tentatively scheduled for September or October 2026.
