Welcome Hermina Glass-Hill, GIPL's New Coastal Engagement Associate

Welcome to the GIPL Team, Hermina!Hermina Glass-Hill is a Creation Care steward, scholar activist, writer and grassroots organizer in Coastal Georgia.  In her role at GIPL, Hermina works with Georgia coastal faith communities to assist with greening their worship practices – whether by coordinating a Power Wise energy audit or assisting with the launch of a Green Team.  She also serves as the coordinator of Savannah Presbytery’s M.K. Pentecost Ecology FundHermina writes, "I am so honored to work with GIPL toward building broader and stronger relationships with faith communities here along the Georgia coast where we are surrounded by such pristine natural wonders as well as urgent environmental issues looming over us threatening the ecological balance of people and nature. I believe that GIPL's programs are desperately needed to inspire and to empower faith communities to integrate Creation care as an essential part of their congregational and community vitality.
