Our next Green Team Roundtable is on July 14 at Noon. Led by GIPL's South Georgia Organizer Tykivious Grier, this roundtable will bring together individuals for a meaningful and engaging conversation about environmental justice in South Georgia. We’ll take time to explore the roots of the environmental justice movement, talk through the issues impacting South Georgia like energy burden, access to clean air and water, biomass, and data center expansion and reflect on how faith communities can play an active role in building healthier, more resilient communities. Whether someone is just beginning to learn about environmental justice or already doing this work in their congregation, this roundtable will offer space to learn, connect, and take meaningful steps forward.
