This hands-on training from Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL), in partnership withGreenBox Homes,is designed to prepare people of faith to tackle invasive species at houses of worship or at home.
We'll work together at a GIPL partner site that needs invasive management. Along the way, you'll learn how to identify key invasive plant species, remove them effectively and safely, and build a basic plan for managing invasives over time.
Water, gloves, and basic tools will be provided. Please wear clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get dirty.
