This summer, join Georgia Interfaith Power & Light for a thoughtful, hopeful exploration of climate solutions rooted in justice, joy, and collective action. This 8-week book study will center on What If We Get It Right? by marine biologist and climate leader Ayana Elizabeth Johnson.
Led by GIPL Program Coordinator Ayesha Abid, each week participants will engage with a different section of the book, using GIPL’s Green Team Facebook Group as a hub for reflection, dialogue, and community connection. Expect:
Weekly journal prompts posted on Mondays
Optional additional readings on Wednesdays
A Friday group discussion at 6:30 p.m. ET, hosted live on Zoom and livestreamed to the Facebook group
Discussions will be casual, open, and welcoming—no pressure to have every page read. You’re invited to reflect on the material, your faith or spiritual traditions, and the world we’re called to help shape.
