Reverse Tashlich is an innovative Jewish environmental ritual celebrated globally whereby people work together to clean up local waterways, combatting plastic pollution and acting upon a shared ethic of environmental stewardship. This year, Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) is hosting Reverse Tashlich on Sunday, Sept. 29, in partnership with Adamah ATL, at three locations in metro Atlanta—Mason Mill Park, the Chattahoochee River, and the Peachtree Creek (exact addresses provided closer to the date of the event). Cleanups at the Chattahoochee River and the Peachtree Creek are from 2-4 p.m. Mason Mill is from 3:45-5:30 p.m.
